Welcome on Board
During OsEAN's annual General Meeting Catherine Clair from ESO (UK) was elected as a board member. We are very happy to welcome her on board.
Catherine graduated from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in 2005 from the CIDO - ESO pathway and has since been actively involved in various roles at the ESO for both undergraduate and international departments as well as practicing in two clinics in Kent.
Following her diploma in Osteopathy, Catherine has obtained a Masters degree in Osteopathy from the ESO as well as a Postgraduate certificate in Higher Education from the University of Greenwich and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education.
Catherine is an experienced lecturer (MET, Structural techniques, Osteopathic management and Medical screening), examiner and dissertation supervisor for the undergraduate course as well as an experienced interpreter, lecturer, examiner and for the International department in UK. Over the years Catherine has taught in Russia, Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Austria and Spain.
She has also gained experience as an external examiner for BCOM on behalf of Plymouth University, London Metropolitan University and Westminster University and is currently External examiner for Final Clinical Competence Assessment at BCOM. She has also taken the role of International Programme Coordinator / Head of International Department at the ESO.
Catherine is interested in all aspects of Osteopathic philosophy and treatment especially how to integrate various approaches to provide the best care possible. Her particular interests are in patients presenting systemic conditions, osteopathy and dentistry, as well the treatment of the elderly.
