The idea of producing a Yearbook is somehow taken from the American Academy of Osteopathy which has produced Yearbooks for many years collecting historical and important papers and documents for our profession.
OSEAN intends to collect in the first place the best dissertations produced each year from newly graduates, giving a chance to students to publish their works. This is a very important step into research strategy that every college should follow, trying to involve and motivate its own students to become active in the research and publishing field.
The yearbook will also collect editorials, comments from the principals and co-operators of the OSEAN group, providing an important international exchange platform.
Initially the yearbook will be produced exclusively in digital format, allowing easy distribution for the collages. The first yearbook should be produced by the beginning of 2010, currently the dissertations are under review.
